Lobethal Road Winery
Dave Neyle and Inga Lidums operate Lobethal Road Winery, located in the Adelaide Hills, just 40kms from the city centre. Lobethal is a great spot to grab a bite to eat with a glass of wine or two. Head to their cellar door to try their Tempranillo, paired perfectly with a house nibble (we love their free range chicken, saffron and almond tart with ras el hanout), or if you’re feeling peckish, opt for a main like their pan-seared Atlantic salmon with potato mash and Lobethal Road chardonnay sauce or their beef fillet on a porcini risotto cake. Delicious! Book via the link, here.

Fairbrossen Winery is named after the Lakes District in Northern-West England and the adjective meaning “full to bursting” after a satisfying meal. You can enjoy wine straight from the store or head to their cellar door to snack on some tasty eats, including their ever-popular meat and cheese board and mouth-watering hearty platters. We love their Grecian inspired Mediterranean platters but the vegetarian option is great too.

Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm
Nestled away from an iconic lavender farm, Kooroomba Vineyard is a picturesque restaurant, chapel and vineyard. All the food from their restaurant is sourced either from their garden or from other local farms, so you know you’re getting the best of the best. If the weather is on your side, go out to their garden terrace and order one of their BYO Picnics – they’ll set everything up for you and all you have to do is sit back and relax while you watch the sun go down. Head here for more info (and don’t forget to stop by their lavender farm for a perfect insta-pic!).
