In 2019 he created his first Permanent Heritage Artwork, ‘Tumbalong’ for Chinatown, Haymarket, Sydney. He is currently teaching Multidisciplinary Arts at the University of Sydney.

Taping into his joy of storying telling Chris’ gift cards are inspired by Red Pockets, which are traditionally given out as gift to share wealth and prosperity during The Chinese New Year. “With my designs, I wish to bridge the gap between tradition and the contemporary Asian-Australian identity by mixing line and style with modern colour and flair,” he explains. As penned by Chris, “These Gift cards act as a symbolic continuation of the Red Pocket tradition in my culture.”
