Motherless Daughters Australia: 5 Messages to Send to People Grieving This Mother's Day

Motherless Daughters Australia acknowledges the unique and complex journey that motherless daughters go through and strives to provide a safe and supportive community where they can connect and heal.
The organisation provides a range of resources to help motherless daughters navigate their grief and find a sense of purpose and connection. One of their main initiatives is the Motherless Daughters Support Group, which meets monthly in various locations across Australia. The support groups provide a safe and confidential space for women to share their experiences, connect with others, and receive guidance and support.
Mother’s Day is a very tough time for people who have lost their Mum, so we worked with Motherless Daughter’s to compile 5 messages you could send your loved ones who have lost their Mum during this tough period.
Message 1:
Thinking of you today. If you’d like to, I would love to hear about your mum- anything at all. Send me your favourite photo of her too!
Message 2:
I’m free on Sunday if you’d like to go for a walk and grab a coffee?
Message 3:
Hey, just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you, I know Mother's Day is a hard day for you and that you’re not alone.
Message 4
I am sending you lots of love today. I am here to chat or lean on at any time throughout the day.
Message 5
Today must be really shitty, hard, and sad for you. I’m here if you need to char or escape the day for a while.
