Sista Studios Gift Cards for NAIDOC Week 2025: A Celebration of Culture and Country

For this year’s NAIDOC Week, we are honoured to share the work of Kasey and Jess Tattersall, the proud Indigenous women and sisters behind Sista Studios.
Working on Wadawurrung Country on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, Kasey and Jess are emerging artists whose practice is deeply rooted in culture, Country, and community. In 2024, the duo founded Sista Studios – created with the intention of uplifting and strengthening the presence of Indigenous culture in everyday spaces.
Their designs bring story, strength, and identity into the hands of everyday Australians through art that invites reflection, recognition, and respect.
Each gift card features a unique artwork – a reflection of the land Kasey and Jess grew up on, and a tribute to the people, past and present, who continue to support and walk beside them.
About NAIDOC Week 2025
NAIDOC Week is a national week of recognition – a time to honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. What began as a protest has evolved into one of the most important and meaningful weeks on the Australian calendar.
Held each July, NAIDOC Week invites all Australians to engage more deeply with First Nations voices – through community events, art, storytelling, and reflection. It’s a time to listen, learn, and stand alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy,” marks 50 years since the first national NAIDOC Week. This theme celebrates the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, honouring the past while looking to the future. It highlights the strength of young leaders and the enduring legacy of ancestors.
Meet the Artists
Kasey and Jess grew up on Wadawurrung Country, along Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula. The sisters were always drawn to art – reaching for paints and sketchbooks long before they considered it a career. In August 2024, they officially launched Sista Studios, with the goal to amplify Aboriginal culture and its presence within community.
Their pieces often centre on themes of resilience, family, and Country. Through traditional techniques and bold colour, they honour their community, and the generations to come.
A key focus of their art is visibility – ensuring that young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people see their culture reflected around them, not just during NAIDOC Week, but in everyday life.
